Lord Jesus, our Savior, You have made Your mother Mary a faithful follower of God's law and a chosen member of Your Church. Through her prayers, may we continue to grow in Your love. Lord Jesus, King of all the saints, we praise You now and for ever. Amen.

Lord Jesus, you came into the world to heal our infirmities and to endure our sufferings. You went about healing all and bringing comfort to those in pain and need. We come before you now asking that you may be the source of our strength in body, courage in spirit and patience in pain. May we join ourselves more closely to you on the cross and in your suffering that through them we may draw our patience and hope. Assist us and restore us to health so that united more closely to your family, the Church, we may give praise and honor to your name. Amen.

O Lord, thank you for the precious gift of love you have given to me and the world. Thank you for blessing me every day with this love and for the power and strength that I get from it. I need your love to sustain me. Without it I am lost. Your love is like food and medicine for my soul Lord. Please continue to let me feel your comforting love that I may be able to express it and share it with others.

For the love You bear to those who ask forgiveness, look mercifully on me, as once You looked on Mary Magdalene and on Peter who denied You. Look on me, Lord Jesus Christ, as You looked on the thief on his cross and on every sinner whom You have ever forgiven. Call me from darkness to my Father's house, give me a new heart and a place at Your side at the banquet of Your kingdom. Amen.

Lord Jesus, may everything I do begin with You, continue with Your help, and be done under Your guidance. May my sharing in the Mass free me from my sins, and make me worthy of Your healing. May I grow in Your Love and Your service, and become a pleasing offering to You; and with You to Your Father. May the mystery I celebrate help me to reach eternal life with you.

Lord Jesus, Help me to be straightforward like the sky-seeking redwood tree. May my generosity be like the sap which ascends and nourishes. May my soul be clear like the spring water at its origin. May my will be like the faultless granite. May You be always throughout my life a constant companion. May the cross which rises at the crossroads be for me like the meeting of a friend. Amen.

Lord, Jesus, I come before You, just as I am. I am sorry for my sins, I repent of my sins, please forgive me. In Your name, I forgive all others for what they have done against me. I renounce Satan, the evil spirits and all their works. I give You my entire self. Lord Jesus, now and forever, I invite You into my life Jesus. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Heal me, change me, strengthen me in body, soul and spirit. Come Lord Jesus, cover me with Your precious blood, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit, I love You Jesus. I praise You Jesus. I thank You Jesus. I shall follow You every day of my life. Amen.

Lord God Almighty, who safely brought us to the beginning of this day, defend us in the same by Your mighty power, that this day we may fall into no sin, but that all our words may so proceed, and all our thoughts and actions may be so directed as to do always that which is just in Your sight. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Almighty and Eternal God, look upon the Face of Your Son Jesus. We present It to You with confidence to implore Your pardon. The All-Merciful Advocate opens His mouth to plead our cause; hearken to His cries, behold His tears, O God, and through His infinite merits hearken to Him when He intercedes for us poor miserable sinners. Amen.

Look down, O Lord, from Your sanctuary and from the high habitation of heaven, and behold this sacred victim, which our great High Priest, Your Holy Child, the Lord Jesus, sacrifices to You for the sins of others. Behold, the voice of the Blood of Jesus, our Brother, cries to You from the Cross! Graciously hear, O Lord; be appeased, O Lord; hearken and do not delay for Your own sake, my God, because Your Name is invoked, upon this city, and upon Your people; and do with us according to Your mercy. Amen.

Heavenly Father, my true Provider, in all my daily needs, protect and guide me. Spare me from fire and flood, from thieves, fear and evil in any form. If sickness or accident befall me, send a messenger of love to attend me. When I am feeling low, lift up my heart. I live alone dear Lord, yet because I know your presence is ever near, I will have no fear. Amen.

You have come to my heart, dearest Jesus, I am holding You close to me; I'm telling You over and over, You are welcome, O Little Guest. I love You, I love You, my Jesus, O please do not think I am bold; Of course, You must know that I love You, But I'm sure that You like to be told. I'll whisper, "I love You, my Jesus," And ask that we never may part; I love You, O kind, Loving Jesus And press You still nearer my heart. And when I shall meet You in Heaven, You will recall our fond meetings, When You were my little guest. Amen.

Little Infant of Jesus of good Health, God of Love, born to suffer for me! In You above all do I find the courage and strength I need in the trials and troubles that weight so heavily upon me. By the Sorrows of Your Most Holy Mother, I implore You to lighten the burdens of my soul with Your holy consolations and to relieve my bodily infirmities with Your Merciful Kindness, if it so pleases the will of our Father in Heaven. Amen.

Dear Loving and Compassionate God, Giver of all gifts, we pray especially today for the mercy and love You give us. Open our hearts and minds to You. Give us the grace to accept your mercy. As we live each day, we pray for those less fortunate, especially those who are hurting, and whose wounds need to be healed. Help us become involved in ways that show them how deeply we care. Give us the personal courage to listen to their concerns and help them find the solutions to which they are entitled as Your children and our brothers and sisters. Amen.

We like everything to be black and white. We don't like grey areas, but it seems to me that life is mostly lived in grey areas as we struggle to reach truth. I pray for anybody living in the grey areas of life today. Anyone dealing with their wounds. Anyone feeling alone and unloved. I pray that I may always respond with compassion to people and that I may meet compassion in people when i most need it. Amen – By Columban Fr. Eamon Sheridan
