Father, to You I raise my whole being, a vessel emptied of self. Accept Lord, this my emptiness, and so fill me with Yourself, Your Light, Your Love, Your Life, that these precious gifts may radiate through me and over-flow the chalice of my heart into the hearts of all with whom I come in contact this day, revealing to them the beauty of Your Joy and Wholeness and the Serenity of Your Peace which nothing can destroy. Amen.

Father in heaven, all creation rightly gives you praise, for all life and all holiness come from you. In the plan of your wisdom she who bore the Christ in her womb was raised body and soul in glory to be with him in heaven. May we follow her example in reflecting your holiness and join in her hymn of endless love and praise. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Breath in me, Spirit of God, that I may think what is holy; drive me, Spirit of God, that I may do what is holy; draw me Spirit of God, that I may love what is holy; strengthen me, Spirit of God, that I may preserve what is holy; guard me, Spirit of God, that I may never lose what is holy.

Body of Christ, save me! Save me from my great arch-enemy, my weak and faltering self. Save me from all greed of money, of power, and of praise. Save me from thirst for pleasure, worldly show, and midnight revelry. Save me from betraying You, Dear Lord, in thought, or in word, or in deed. Amen.

Bless me, heavenly Father, forgive my erring ways. Grant me strength to serve Thee, put purpose in my days. Give me understanding, enough to make me kind. So I may judge all people with my heart, not my mind. Teach me to be patient in everything I do, Content to trust Your wisdom and to follow after You. Help me when I falter and hear me when I pray, And receive me in Your kingdom to dwell with Thee someday. Amen.

Behold me, my beloved Jesus, weighed down under the burden of my trials and sufferings, I cast myself at Your feet, that You may renew my strength and my courage, while I rest here in Your Presence. Permit me to lay down my cross in Your Sacred Heart, for only Your infinite goodness can sustain me; only Your love can help me bear my cross; only Your powerful hand can lighten its weight. O Divine King, Jesus, whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted, I wish to live in You; suffer and die in You. During my life be to me my model and my support; At the hour of my death, be my hope and my refuge. Amen.

God, our Father, You redeemed us and made us Your children in Christ. Through Him You have saved us from death and given us Your Divine life of grace. By becoming more like Jesus on earth, may I come to share His glory in Heaven. Give me the peace of Your kingdom, which this world does not give. By Your loving care protect the good You have given me. Open my eyes to the wonders of Your Love that I may serve You with a willing heart.

Almighty, true and incomparable God, You are present in all things, yet in no way limited by them. You remain unaffected by place, untouched by time, unperturbed by years, and undeceived by words. You are not subject to birth and in no need of protection. You are beyond all corruption, above all change, immutable by nature. You live in unapproachable light and are invisible, yet You are known to all those who seek You with hope and love. You are the God of Israel, and of all who hope in Christ. Amen

Almighty and merciful God, Who has commissioned Your angels to guide and protect us, command them to be our assiduous companions from our setting out until our return; to clothe us with their invisible protection; to keep from us all danger of collision, of fire, of explosion, of falls and bruises; and finally, having preserved us from of all evil, and especially from sin, to guide us to our heavenly home. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Almighty God, I thank you for your past blessings. Today I offer myself - whatever I do, say, or think - to your loving care. Continue to bless me, Lord. I make this morning offering in union with the divine intentions of Jesus Christ who offers himself daily in the holy sacrifice of the Mass, and in union with Mary, his Virgin Mother and our Mother, who was always the faithful handmaid of the Lord. Amen.

O God, I would wish to receive You with that love with which the most holy and loving souls, with which Immaculate Mary received You. With their Communion I unite this Communion of mine. Most holy Virgin, my Mother, Mary, behold I am going to receive Your Son. Give me this day my Jesus, as you gave Him to the shepherds and to the Magi. I wish to receive Him from my most pure hands; tell Him that I am your servant, and that I am devoted to you; and when He comes to me, He will look on me with a more loving eye, and will unite Himself more closely to me.

My soul, the happy hour is arrived; Jesus comes to dwell in my poor heart. Behold the King of heaven, my Redeemer and my God, coming to me; prepare myself to receive Him with love; say to Him with the most ardent desire: Come, O my Jesus, come to me: I desire to receive You, before You give Yourself to me, I desire to give You my heart; accept it, come and take full possession of it. Come, my God, do not delay.
