Columban Daily Prayer

Merciful Father, purify our hearts from everything
that keeps us from loving You and our neighbor.
Give us honesty about our weaknesses and courage
to allow Your grace to transform us.
Teach us to value compassion more than recognition,
generosity more than possessions, and holiness
more than appearances.
May the goodness You cultivate within us become visible
through the way we treat others.
